People who actually stood up for the Jewish were really brave because most people wouldn't do that. Most of the bystanders didn't step up because they're putting themselves and their family's at risk. Personally I wouldn't stand up because I would be putting my family in danger because the Nazi army was stronger than me. People would join the Nazi army only because they knew they wouldn't be killed because if they tried to protest they would most likely be dead.
I agree, I would've wanted to make a change. No one ever wanted to get killed at the time, mainly because they would have been shot, or even worse, be put in concentration camps. I think, at the same time, you would be caring and loving as well since you don't want your family to be harmed, and not just yourself.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with some Germans only joining the Nazis to not get killed, but have you thought about that person we learned about the other day who just joined for money? Maybe someone did the same thing as the guy too, help the Jewish escape, things like that.
Overall, I liked yours. It's short, but you put your point across.
