"The Walking Dead The Rise Of The Governor"

Since the last time they got the SUV stuck so they tried to get it unstuck but they couldn't and it was getting dark. They decided to try again in the morning so they stayed in a bus for the night. Penny woke up around the middle of the night and it was Brian's turn to keep watch. Penny sat next to Brian and Brian decided to come up with a code word for Penny. Whenever he would tell her the code word she would have to cover her ears and close her eyes. Penny came up with the word "away" as the new code word. Later in the morning they couldn't get the SUV unstuck so they carried as much stuff as they could and started running towards Atlanta. They got there quick because they weren't that far. When they got there they attracted a huge mob of zombies and they had no car. They got into a police car and got to a garage that had cars they could use. They got the Escalate and drove to try to find the camp but the only thing they found was April. April invited them to join there family. Philip, Brian, and Nick cleared out the rest of the apartment building and they decided to drop the bodies of the roof which attracted zombies towards them.

The conflict is that since they decided to get there anger out on the zombies by dropping them off the roof more zombies were attracted. Another problem they had but was resolved was that the Escalate broke down but it was resolved when April invited them in. When April invited them in her dad wouldn't let them in because of the guns but her sister eventually got her dad to let them in because they had Penny. If it wasn't for Penny they probably wouldn't be let in the apartment building. In the book it says "'Oh my God, what an adorable little girl,' the big gal says, seeing Penny, who is now holding Brian's hand. 'Come on in, folks can't tell ya how good it is to finally see people who can keep their drool in their mouths."

"The Walking Dead The Rise Of The Governor"

Since they left they headed up to the interstate 20. Once they got near it Brian was the first to notice something. Later Nick saw it and finally Philip see's what the rest were seeing. The cars were on fire and blocking the interstate so they couldn't get through. They got to the interstate and they were thinking of how to get pass through this but they didn't know a zombie was coming for Nick. The zombie reached out for Nick through the small crack of his window. Philip grabs his gun and shoots the zombie causing all its brain matter to splash on the windshield.

This book is similar to the show because the interstate is blocked by multiple cars. The difference would be that the book is focused on the governor and they haven't met Rick and the rest. In the book it is also introducing new characters that in the show haven't bin mention. In the book it introduces the governors brother and his college friends. In the show it barely talks about his past and in the show it only shows Penny as a zombie and not a living little girl. While in the actual book Philip is taking care of Penny and Brian watched her as well. In the book it shows how well they take care of her "'Daddy's here, pumpkin, don't worry,' Philip says softly, touching her cheek."

"The Walking Dead The Rise Of The Governor"

Since the last blog you will finally find out what was inside the coffin. At last when Brian opens the coffin all that came out was a rat. Brian was relieved that it wasn't that little boy they couldn't find. Later that night they were all downstairs and all of a sudden they start hearing a lot of growling outside. They went to check it out and there was a load of zombies trying to push down the fence. Philip got rid of them in the front while Bobby got rid of them from the back yard. Once they were done Bobby gave a thumbs up that it was clear. Unfortunately, it wasn't all of a sudden you heard growling from inside the dog house. Philip goes sprinting towards Bobby but before Phillip got to him the little boy that they couldn't find comes out and attack Bobby. He takes a bite at Bobby's leg right before Philip could arrive to him.

The new conflict in the story would be the Bobby got bit. Secondly one conflict was resolved when they finally new where the little boy was. They are relieved of that but are struggling with this new conflict. The other conflict that they had for a while would be that the zombies were surrounding the fence and trying to get in. Since this is happening Philip gets attacked by the zombies through the fence so he uses the nail gun to defend himself. In the book it says ""Get the nail gun and as many extension cords as you can carry...hatchets, too!' FFFFFFFOOOMP! Number five goes down like a giant rag doll in tattered suit pants, the dead, milky eyes rolling back in its head as it slides down the other side of the fence, its putrid body collapsing to the parkway."
