"The Wrap-Up List"

So far in the book Iris is helping Gabriela with the hints that Death sent her. Gabriela had to make a wrap up list with stuff that she wants to happen, and on her wished are a first kiss for Iris, first kiss for Raahi, first kiss for Sarena, a first kiss for her from Sylvester, and finally a pardon. She found out on of them which was a note that was from Sylvester and it said to meet her at a place so she can have her first kiss. In her school they were also talking about how the people who got picked to fight in the war but pack up there things soon and unfortunately one of her friends was picked. Raahi was the one who was picked and he doesn't want to go but he has to.

I feel that the genre is fiction but some stuff of the book can be real. The stuff that I find is fiction would be that Death send departure letters to people because that doesn't happen here in real life. The parts that I find realistic would be that once you're old enough and there a war you can be drafted so you can fight in the war. Also that once you're 18 and older you can volunteer to join the army to help fight the war.

Tolerance

Tolerance for me would be to hold my anger and not offend my family because they're really religious. I can be more tolerant by watching what I say in front of specific people who would find what I say really offensive. I can live a more tolerant life by learning about other cultures so then when I'm around someone with that culture I won't accidentally offend them. I feel like I'm more tolerant than my sister because I respect her religion, music, and when she prays before we eat. She unfortunately isn't really tolerant with the type of music I listen to, she would complain to my parents and yell at them for letting me listen to Pierce The Veil only because it isn't Christian or Catholic music. Since she isn't really tolerant about my music it gets me really furious and thats how we end up fighting and not talking for a long time. I feel like tolerance will make us a better person especially in the future when we work around people with different cultures. That way we won't offend someone that we didn't even mean to and they might respect us more.

"The Wrap-Up List"

So far this book is about how Death selects people for departure. If you get chosen you have a certain amount of days left to live until Death takes you with him unless you get a pardon. A pardon is when you do something that Death appreciates which pretty much is his weak spot. Is you get a pardon by Death then you get to live the rest of your life.

I would say the conflict might be that Death is taking peoples lives. Also another conflict that I didn't mention would be raahi which is one of Gabriela's friend that he got chosen to go off to basic training. He will be fighting in a war after his training.

"The Walking Dead The Rise Of The Governor"

Since Bobby died in the last blog Philip and Nick barry him in the garden. Philip tries to not cry but Nick falls to his knees and starts crying a lot. After a while from barring the body Philip makes an announcement that they are going to leave the house that they are in. Everybody was in shock but they agreed with him. Philip was talking to Nick and Brian about getting two cars to put all the stuff inside but Brian didn't want to split up so they ended up just using the one car. They all started packing materials that they would need like food, water, batteries, guns, and bullets. They decided to leave at night after they were done packing everything. The one thing Brian did before leaving was he got a 3 by 3 piece of wood and started writing something on it. Once he was done he got in the car and they broke the front fence they built and raced off.

In the book I would say an Aha Moment happened. It would be when Philip decides to leave the house they were currently in. Philip would have stayed most likely if Bobby didn't die. He was saying before that ""How long do you think we're gonna be able to stay here?' Brian asks softly. Philip sits down, lays the nail gun on the table and takes another sip if bourbon. He nods toward the family room, where the whimsical voices of children's programming drift incongruously. 'She needs a break,' Philip says. 'She's exhausted.' 'She loves that play set out back,' Brian says with a weak smile. Philip nods. 'She can live a normal life here for a while.'" Also they built the fence and it was very secured but Philip still got them to leave.

"Marilyn Monroe"

Marilyn's original name was Norma Jean and her mother was Gladys. Gladys sent Norma up for foster care after 12 days from birth. Marilyn was in foster care for 7 years then Gladys tried to get her back. Gladys was able to get her back after someone killed Marilyn's dog that she really loved. After that she had 3 husbands and Joe the second husband was abusive. He would punch her and leave bruises. Marilyn was on medication and she overdosed a bunch of times.

The conflicts in this book as that she had an abusive husband. It was revolved when Marilyn divorced him. Another major conflict was that she was on a lot of medication. She got really addicted to it and overdosed a lot of times. She never really resolved that conflict because she died of an overdose. In the book it says that "Monroe is found dead on the morning of August 5. The investigation reveals it to be a probable suicide."

"Marilyn Monroe"

Marilyn was an actress who either was too depressed or tired to work in thr movies a lot of times. She was a interesring artist because she would wear dresses that almost makes it seem like if she was nude. She sang happy birthday for the president at the time which was John F Kenedy. She would always be late to almost everything.

One of the conflicts that was happening is that she was threaten to get kicked off the movie if she ditched it again to sing to the president. Marilyn still decided to go sing to the president anyways even if it ment getting kicked out of the movie. Marilyn would always be late to everything and everyone just had to deal deal with it and she said that "I rather be prepaired than on time".
